Kaula: O PrincΓpio
Grupos comeΓ§aram a se formar, dando origem a diversas linhagens.
O Kaula nΓ£o fazia parte do Tantra originalmente.

En Version : Kula: The Principle
In northern India, existed the worship of the 8 Mothers, the 8 Matrikas, also known as Kapalikas. The adoration of the local spirit was of great importance in India. This cult of the 8 goddesses was later purified and integrated into the deities Shakti, Durga, Lalita, and others.
Groups began to form, giving rise to various lineages. The author describes how women induced the Spirit to take possession of the initiate for them to be initiated. These women were called veeras. The initiation ritual involved alcohol, meat, exchange of fluids, and was usually performed in cemeteries. The goal was to lead the initiate to a symbolic "death," so that the woman would then be possessed by the spirit of Yogini, and both would belong to the hidden group of the 8 Matrikas.
This ritual echoed one of the oldest initiation concepts:
Death: Symbolic death of the initiate for spiritual rebirth.
Sexual Union: Sacred union with the Yogini, representing the union of the microcosm with the macrocosm.
Rebirth: Birth into a new state of consciousness.
It is believed that the group of 64 Yoginis were nymphs who later became the Mahasares. They are considered Ishta Devata, deities who control the life of each individual.
Kaula was not originally part of Tantra. With the growth of Shaivism, it incorporated these concepts into its disciplines. Only with the emergence of the Shaiva Agamas and Rudra Agamas, sacred texts revealed by Shiva, was Shiva considered non-dual and part of everything.
From this mixture, with the ΨΈΩΩΨ± (chushou - emergence) of the non-dual Shaiva Agamas, the Kaula schools began to form.
Matsyendranath, considered the true founder of Hatha Yoga, began to question the rituals involving spit, blood, semen, and alcohol. He proposed a higher experience with Shakti. He taught the knowledge of Kaula Marga and Kaula Tantra.
Machindranath was the great propagator of this knowledge, including Kaula and Kundalini, during this period.
Kashmir is considered by many Indians to be paradise on Earth. There exists a small temple called Sarada Peetha, dedicated to the goddess Saraswati, dating back to 3000 BC. The region was a haven for Buddhist temples and has always been a place of monks, civilization, exchange of knowledge, and trade.
In this context, emerged the Trika of Abhinavagupta, the three trishulas with White Sun, Red Sun, and Black Sun. This is the threshold of Trika.
